INITIATIVE
Right before the summer break, on 21 July 2014, the INITIATIVE Pomerania Ark club Pomerania ark has founded. Association purpose is to protect endangered livestock breeds in Pomerania, together with Poland. This laid the foundation for the first cross-border Ark region placed in Germany. It will be built at the German-Polish coast.
THE INITIATORS
Sheep, bees, goats, chickens and geese are already in the portfolio of the club members.
The Rügen specialties Manufacture of Glowe, the Brombeerhaus Üselitz, the Schafhof Drigge and bee breeder Kornrade from Putbus are founding members. The impulse came from EXPERTS NordNordOst. "It was time to give the slumbering values our region new strength and collect the makers for joint action. What we want to protect and preserve is also what makes our region touristy strong and brings in a supportive fit. We hope many follow our initiative and we are a motley Ark region. "We are confident that the club members bring a wide range of expertise and project experience and are very enthusiastic about this."

STRUCTURE
The association exists since 21 July, 2014.
Since then, it has worked mainly in the initiation of a project in the South Baltic EU strategy in the Southern Baltic.
The Interreg application is expected to be in May 2016.
